Buddy, a Pennsylvania cat who was the sufferer of a vicious assault final month, is recovering and heading to a foster residence with one of many veterinarians who first handled him.

“Our bright-eyed boy headed to a foster residence this morning to proceed his journey to his greatest life,” the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals posted Friday on Facebook.

Buddy made nationwide headlines after surveillance footage in a Philadelphia neighborhood captured two canine walkers encouraging their canines to assault him whereas he was standing on a patio. The black cat suffered extreme wounds however managed to flee with out damaged bones or inside bleeding.

“We count on him to make a full restoration,” PSPCA spokesperson Gillian Kocher instructed Avisionews, including that he’s in “steady situation.”
