Aug 24 (Reuters) – Rocket maker SpaceX mentioned on Wednesday that founder Elon Musk and T-Cell US Inc’s (TMUS.O) Chief Government Officer Mike Sievert would announce plans to extend connectivity on Thursday.

SpaceX’s satellite tv for pc communications division Starlink is launching a mega-constellation of satellites to low Earth orbit with the intention of offering web connectivity to underserved areas of the world.
SpaceX has steadily launched some 2,700 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit since 2019 and has amassed tons of of hundreds of subscribers.
Competitors within the low-Earth orbiting satellite tv for pc web sector is fierce between SpaceX, satellite tv for pc operator OneWeb, and Jeff Bezos’s Kuiper undertaking, a unit of e-commerce large Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O).
