JOHANNESBURG, Sept 9 (Reuters) – South Africa’s first Black feminine conductor Ofentse Pitse, who based her musical collective Anchored Sound on the age of 27, pushes the boundaries of a standard orchestra in hopes of making a Coachella-level expertise.
With the assistance of 20 choir members and 19 musicians, Pitse is in search of a brand new sound by mixing jazz, pop, electro home and classical kinds.

Clad in an extended black cape adorned with security pins, Pitse carried out on the stage of a crowded theatre in Johannesburg on Sept. 2.

The viewers praised the conductor’s creativity and her strategy to creating music.
