MAPUTO, Sept 16 (Reuters) – Mozambican designer Mauricio Matapisse appears to be like on as a machine sews the emblem of his Nothing to Lose (NTL) clothes model onto material.
He needs his model, which has caught the eyes of younger Mozambicans with its stylish designs, to be on par with the world’s greatest.
“We have to create that dynamic of when an individual goes to a retailer to purchase Gucci, Nike and… sees NTL… (and) feels a little bit steadiness there. Like, ought to I purchase this or that,” mentioned Matapisse, 39, from Mozambique’s capital Maputo.
NTL clients say its affordability, material high quality and vary of kinds from hats to summer season outfits set it aside.
“You’ve gotten the liberty to decide on the color, measurement and design of your garments,” buyer Neusa Gilda Castigo Mussuey mentioned.
