Dubbed “Corporal Oliveira,” the canine was taken in by Rio police officer Cristiano Oliveira, who discovered him in 2019 close to his police station deserted, injured and hungry.

“I took a coat, a police shirt and put it on him as a joke. I took an image and despatched it to our station’s roster teams and posted them there,” mentioned Oliveira. “After which the joke began going viral.”
