STOKE-ON-TRENT, England, March 16 (Reuters) – British pottery makers are persevering with a convention going again centuries by producing tens of hundreds of commemorative mugs, plates and teapots to mark the upcoming coronation of King Charles.

Charles would be the first British monarch to be topped for seven many years following the record-breaking reign of his mom Queen Elizabeth.

Employees on the Emma Bridgewater ceramics manufacturing unit in Stoke-on-Trent, a metropolis in central England famed for its pottery, are already busy producing swathes of handmade and adorned ceramics for the event.
