MADRID, April 28 (Reuters) – Folks in Barcelona needed to do a double tackle Friday when former President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and movie maker Steven Spielberg joined the throngs of vacationers to go to a number of the metropolis’s important websites – albeit with added safety.
The trio have been in Barcelona to attend a live performance by pal Bruce Springsteen at Barcelona’s Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium on Friday evening.
Obama, Spielberg and Springsteen dined on the Amar restaurant within the Palace Resort on Thursday. Employees member Pol Perello uploaded a photograph of them posing with wait employees and cooks to Instagram with the remark “the pleasure this job brings you!.”
On Friday, the Obamas and Spielberg took in a few of Barcelona’s most well-known cultural sights. Stops on the tour have been set to incorporate the Sagrada Familia basilica, designed by Antoni Gaudi, and the Picasso museum.
Spanish information retailers confirmed the previous president and first woman strolling hand in hand by way of central Barcelona surrounded by a big group of safety guards.
Obama and Springsteen first met on the presidential marketing campaign path in 2008. In 2021, they hosted a podcast that spawned a e book “Renegades: Born within the USA.”
