Cassie Randolph is engaged!
“The Bachelor” alum, 29, told People on Wednesday that her new fiancé, Brighton Reinhardt, proposed at one of her favorite local spots in Newport Beach, Calif.
She explained that she and her family went on a pre-dinner stroll along the Newport Coast, which features an array of beachfront cottages.
Waiting for her at the last cottage, which is nestled against cliffs, was Reinhardt, 27, and a 5.04 carat elongated cushion cut diamond ring.
“When Brighton dropped to a knee and asked, ‘Will you marry me?’ as he opened the box, my reaction was immediately, ‘Oh my gosh, yes!” the former reality star gushed.
As for whether she had an inkling about what Reinhardt had up his sleeve, Randolph insisted she “had no idea” and “was completely caught off guard.”
The speech-language pathologist’s close friend Krissy documented the proposal with sunset photos along the shore that perfectly captured her brand-new bespoke sparkler.
However, given that she didn’t expect to be made a fiancée, Randolph was dressed casually in jeans and a white top.
“The only thing I would have changed is, I wish I did my hair!” she admitted, noting that the rest of the evening could not have been “more perfect and special.”
After the blond beauty agreed to marry Reinhardt, his family “came out of hiding a few yards away” to congratulate the pair.
Both families then celebrated with “an amazing dinner” at a nearby restaurant called A Crystal Cove.
The duo met eight years ago and were friends for about “five years” before they began dating in 2020, she told People.
Randolph rose to fame while competing for Colton Underwood’s heart on Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” which aired from January to March 2019.
They announced their breakup in May 2020, after which the reality star, 32, allegedly stalked her.
Underwood — who has since come out as gay, married Jordan C. Brown and welcomed a baby boy via surrogate — later issued a public apology to Randolph “for how things ended.”
