ASUNCION, March 23 (Reuters) – U.S. pop star Miley Cyrus mentioned on Wednesday that her airplane had been struck by lightning en path to a live performance close to Paraguay’s capital Asuncion, forcing the plane to make an emergency touchdown.
“To my followers and everybody anxious after listening to about my flight to Asuncion. Our airplane was caught in a significant surprising storm and struck by lighting,” she wrote on Twitter. Her submit included a video out of a airplane window displaying flashing lightning exterior.
“My crew, band, family and friends who have been all touring with me are protected after an emergency touchdown,” Cyrus mentioned.
