“That is really an incredible flip within the evolution of the Republican Occasion,” the “Late Evening” host stated. “They whipped up their base into believing loopy shit. In an interview final week, Cawthorn seemingly threw Republican colleagues beneath the bus when he declared that unnamed leaders he “regarded as much as” in Washington, D.C. had used cocaine and invited him to orgies.
“I simply informed him he’s misplaced my belief [and] he’s gonna should earn it again. And I laid out to him every part that I discover unbecoming,” Home Minority Chief Kevin McCarthy informed Axios, including, “He’s received numerous members very upset.”
Cawthorn is infamous for making inaccurate and offensive claims. Not too long ago, he known as Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) an alcoholic and attacked the Ukrainian authorities as “extremely evil” for “pushing woke ideologies.”
