A$AP Rocky was reportedly detained at LAX Wednesday morning in connection to a taking pictures that came about in 2021.
The “Reward the Lord” rapper landed on the California airport following his extremely publicized journey to Barbados with pregnant girlfriend Rihanna and was taken into custody, NBC News reported.
LAPD made the arrest with help from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Safety Investigations workforce.
A rep for the LAPD couldn’t but affirm Rocky’s detention. A rep for ICE didn’t instantly return Web page Six’s request for remark.
Rocky, whose actual title is Rakim Mayers, reportedly has been beneath investigation by the LAPD for his alleged involvement in a Nov. 6 taking pictures.
The sufferer, who survived, later instructed police the rapper, who was strolling with two others, approached him with a handgun on the road. The sufferer claimed Mayers shot at him three to 4 instances and believed one of many bullets grazed his left hand, in line with police studies.
