Canada would assist together with Sweden and Finland within the NATO navy alliance, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated on Thursday, after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has prompted each international locations to think about becoming a member of.
“Conversations are being had round Sweden and Finland trying to be a part of NATO, and Canada, after all, may be very supportive of that,” Trudeau advised reporters when requested if he backed the 2 international locations becoming a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Group.
