The spokesperson for China’s embassy in Washington responded to media reviews on Sunday that Moscow had requested Beijing for navy tools since launching its invasion of Ukraine by saying, “I’ve by no means heard of that.”
The spokesperson, Liu Pengyu, stated China’s precedence was to stop the tense state of affairs in Ukraine from getting uncontrolled.
“The present state of affairs in Ukraine is certainly disconcerting,” he stated in an emailed response to a question from Reuters.
“The excessive precedence now could be to stop the tense state of affairs from escalating and even getting uncontrolled.”
Earlier the Monetary Occasions and Washington Publish cited U.S. officers as saying that Russia has requested China for navy tools since its Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine.
