JOHANNESBURG, Oct 28 (Reuters) – Celebrated South African designer Thebe Magugu hopes his success will encourage different younger folks on the continent.

Magugu not too long ago launched a brand new assortment with world sportswear model Adidas. His garments have been worn by celebrities comparable to Rihanna and Miley Cyrus, and in 2019 he gained the distinguished LVMH Prize for younger designers.
“I am notably pleased with it as a result of I feel it confirmed folks that if I can do it, somebody from Galeshewe township and (with) loads of hardships alongside the way in which… all of these folks can do it too,” mentioned the 29-year-old from his studio in Johannesburg.
