PARIS, July 12 (Reuters) – LVMH-owned Dior has withdrawn a request for 100,000 euros in compensation from rival style label Valentino for allegedly blocking entry to its Rome retailer with a celebrity-packed runway present on the town’s Spanish Steps, a supply informed Reuters.
Citing a letter from Dior, the supply aware of the matter stated the French label was backing down “in mild of the pleasant relationship between the 2 Maisons”.
