Could 10 (Reuters) – U.S. Senate chief Chuck Schumer is anticipated to name on Tuesday for a procedural vote on Federal Reserve nominee Lisa Prepare dinner that will clear the best way for a potential vote on her affirmation later within the day.

Prepare dinner’s nomination stalled final month after Republicans uniformly opposed her as too “partisan” and COVID-19 stored Democrats from mustering a majority in a Senate evenly cut up between the 2 events.
