France in talks with UAE to replace Russian oil supplies

PARIS, June 5 (Reuters) – France is in talks with the United Arab Emirates to interchange Russian oil purchases, which is able to cease after the imposition of a European Union ban on Russian crude, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire mentioned on Sunday.

“There are discussions with the United Arab Emirates. Now we have to search out a substitute for Russian oil,” Le Maire informed Europe 1 radio.
