A 33-year-old man has been arrested as a suspect in a collection of arsons within the Applewood space and alongside West Colfax Avenue in Jefferson County.
Ryan Lee Martin, of Golden, is suspected of beginning a fireplace within the early morning hours of Nov. 15, at a Lakewood townhome advanced below building at West twentieth Avenue and Youngfield Avenue, in keeping with a West Metro Hearth Rescue information launch. That fireplace induced about $2 million in injury.
Martin is a suspect in a collection of arsons relationship again to July, WMFR mentioned.
He’s being held on the Jefferson County Jail on investigation of two counts of first-degree arson, second-degree arson, two counts of felony prison mischief and three counts of firing woods or prairie.
An investigation by WMFR, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Workplace and the Lakewood Police Division is ongoing. Investigators thanked area people members for offering ideas and knowledge within the case.
