A homeless man drowned within the US state of Arizona whereas three law enforcement officials watched, in line with a video and transcript launched to the general public on Monday.
The officers have been suspended pending the outcomes of a number of investigations into the incident, in line with a press release by the town of Tempe.
On Might 28, police responded to a “reported disturbance” between the person, 34-year-old Sean Bickings, and his associate, who have been close to a synthetic lake, the assertion stated.
Video footage launched by the town reveals officers chatting with his associate, then Bickings, who after a couple of minutes climbs over a fence and slowly wades into the lake.
