LOS ANGELES, Jan 12 (Reuters) – As “Avatar: The Means of Water” climbs the field workplace charts, director James Cameron caught his fingers and toes in cement exterior the TCL Chinese language Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday to commemorate his contributions to the movie enterprise.
Longtime collaborator Sigourney Weaver tricked Cameron and producer Jon Landau into going barefoot for the ceremony. Normally, honorees preserve their sneakers on.

“Avatar: The Means of Water” is predicted to go $2 billion in ticket gross sales within the coming days, making it among the many highest-grossing films of all time, together with the unique “Avatar” and Cameron’s “Titanic.”
“The field workplace from our perspective permits us to proceed. It is empowering,” Cameron informed Reuters. He has already filmed a 3rd film within the sequence.
“Writing and designing the following two movies, it is now going to repay, in order that’s feeling,” he added.
