Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted revealed his anger over his revealed feedback about Alex Van Halen’s plans for a Van Halen tribute tour, saying it had made him think about by no means being interviewed once more.
Newsted’s quotes led to worldwide hypothesis, whereas each ex frontman David Lee Roth and virtuoso guitarist Joe Satriani confirmed discussions had taken place for such a challenge, and Satriani expressing shock that Newsted had made it public.
In a dialog with 98.7 The Gater (video beneath), the bassist mentioned: “That was unhealthy, dude. I’m not glad about that.
