The Kremlin stated at the moment that reported makes an attempt by the U.S. FBI and CIA to recruit embassy workers in Washington have been unacceptable.
Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, instructed state media that embassy staff had been threatened with bodily violence, and have been steadily badgered within the neighborhood of the Embassy to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the Central Intelligence Company.
“We do share the considerations of the pinnacle of our diplomatic mission in the USA concerning the actually relatively brazen behaviour of the American intelligence companies in relation to our residents and to the staff of our mission,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated.
“We contemplate it unacceptable.”
