Brussels:
Microsoft, which had been fined a complete 1.6 billion euros ($1.7 billion) by EU antitrust regulators within the earlier decade, will tackle competitors complaints about its cloud computing providers, its president Brad Smith mentioned on Wednesday.
The corporate will make some adjustments, marking step one to allaying the issues, Smith informed a convention organised by suppose tank Bruegel in Brussels.
The corporate discovered itself on the EU competitors enforcer’s radar once more after German software program supplier NextCloud, France’s OVHcloud and two different corporations filed complaints about Microsoft’s cloud practices.
