Kyiv, Ukraine:
Ukraine stated Friday that talks with Moscow had been “very tough” and vowed to not again down on its calls for, greater than a month into Russia’s invasion.
“The negotiation course of could be very tough,” International Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated.
“The Ukrainian delegation has taken a robust place and doesn’t relinquish its calls for. We insist, initially, on a ceasefire, safety ensures, and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” he added.
He additionally stated there had been “no consensus” on key factors with Russia.
“Particularly, the Ukrainian language is and would be the just one state language in Ukraine.”
He was talking after Turkish chief Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated Friday that Kyiv and Moscow appeared to have reached settlement on 4 key negotiating factors, together with the language challenge.
Whereas Kuleba stated this was not true, he stated Ukraine “is sincerely grateful” to Turkey “for his or her political and humanitarian help, in addition to diplomatic efforts geared toward ending Russia’s battle towards Ukraine”.
