LOS ANGELES, June 12 (Reuters) – World megahit “Squid Sport” will return for a second season, Netflix Inc (NFLX.O) introduced on Sunday, providing a couple of hints about what’s to come back at the hours of darkness Korean drama.
“Squid Sport” grew to become Netflix’s most-watched collection when it was launched in September 2021. The present tells the story of cash-strapped contestants who play childhood video games for an opportunity of life-changing sums of cash. It impressed numerous memes and Halloween costumes and kickstarted gross sales of inexperienced tracksuits.
Author and director Hwang Dong-hyuk teased a couple of particulars concerning the present’s second season in a letter launched by Netflix.

Characters Gi-hun and The Entrance Man will return, he stated, and “the person within the swimsuit with ddakji is perhaps again.”

Netflix didn’t say when the brand new season could be launched.
