LAGOS, Nov 16 (Reuters) – As sustainable vogue fanatic Uche Aladimma types by means of discarded denim garments in an open market in Lagos, Nigeria, a light sky-blue jacket catches his eye; now he has to determine whether or not to show it into an apron, a tote bag or one thing else.
Aladimma, 28, says he launched the eco-friendly Azach model in February to struggle towards quick vogue in Africa’s most populous nation through the use of second-hand garments to provide sturdy street-wear in style with younger adults.
“All of the supplies that we work with are the supplies that we are able to use for a very long time… They’re garments that you would be able to move all the way down to individuals… upcycle them once more,” he stated.
