PARIS, Sept 7 (Reuters) – A small dinosaur skeleton will go on sale in Paris subsequent month and is estimated to promote for between 400,000 and 500,000 euros ($495,000), public sale home Giquello mentioned.
Not like big dinosaur skeletons bought at earlier auctions, the fossilized iguanodon skeleton stands simply 1.3 metre excessive and is three metres (9.8 ft) lengthy. It was found in 2019 in Colorado, U.S., throughout road-building on personal land.
“It is a dinosaur for a front room,” auctioneer Alexandre Giquello mentioned, referring to the scale.

The creature is estimated to have lived greater than 150 million years in the past. Its stays have been restored by a group of Italian paleontologists.
The skeleton shall be auctioned on October 20.
In 2020, the identical public sale home bought a 3.5 metre (11 ft) excessive and 10 metre lengthy dinosaur skeleton for 3 million euros.
